Join Us for A Pre-Harvest Party — 8/23/25

Party invite

August in Carneros is always an exciting time. If harvest hasn’t officially commenced, it usually isn’t too far off on the horizon. Before things kick off and get super chaotic, we feel that there is an opportunity to celebrate the buzz in the air and all things wine country. With that, we would love to have you attend our next event.

WHAT

A pre-harvest assemblage of good wine, great food and awesome people — all intertwined within the backdrop of our vineyard and the excitement of harvest. In addition to Ricci Vineyards, the event will be co-hosted by the fantastic folks from Eat Drink Cook and Wine Women. Food, entertainment/activities and wine will be provided.

Ricci Vineyards Rosé of Pinot Noir

Remnants of an Old Windmill

The image above, which can be found on the label for our Rosé of Pinot Noir, is the last remaining vestige of a windmill that existed on the property long before it ever became a vineyard. Perhaps more precisely, this was part of a wind pump that drew water from an underground well and fed it into a stock trough for grazing cattle. Although the cattle have long been removed, and the physical relics of a livelihood that existed prior to the vineyard slowly fade to dust, this tower is an unrelenting reminder of our family’s legacy; first as ranchers, now as farmers, and forever patrons to the land.
